Director of Photography
Since 2001 Jay has been travelling the world developing his passion for sport and an active lifestyle. Jay dedicated his time to training as an Advanced Windsurf Instructor & working in exotic locations sharing his knowledge and love of the sport and ocean.
In January 2009 Jay wanted to merge his passion for photography and experiences working in fast paced environments. This saw the birth of GlobalShots.
It is a combination of Jay’s background, his unique personality and his well trained eye that allow him to capture moments that others would miss, and deliver outstanding results. He is extremely multi-skilled as he takes on the demanding roles of creative filmmaking and editing as well as continuing to produce exciting photography content.
When not behind the lens Jay can be found racing on the international SUP scene or hunting for wind and waves for the next adventure.
Bethany joined the team with a background in a variety of roles from: production runner at BBC Blue Peter making the ‘here’s one I made earlier’, PR Manager for the Extreme Sports Company, to producing inspiring video content for Boodles and their biennial Boxing Ball, Samsung, Movidiam and Vivobarefoot.
Bethany is not your usual filmmaking producer. She is an action sports fanatic, storyboard artist and creative genius. Now she enjoys the variety of her day to day working life: she can be running the production of a full scale shoot one week, sharpening her pencils storyboarding the next project or in the midst of the action capturing exciting content on camera.
When she’s not planning the next project you can find her with her sketchbook and paints, windsurfing at her favourite spots on the south coast of England or up on the mountains skiing.
